- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree (P.Eng. may be considered a plus).
- 10 + years practical experience in the electro / mechanical design of metal built machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Solid Works, Microsoft Office.
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of motion control with respect to conveying product and materials.
- Comprehensive experience and understanding in the relationship between mechanical and PLC controls design with packaging machinery and equipment.
- Effective technical and project management communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within an ISO registered quality management system.

- Management of assigned projects from design phase through manufacture, testing, installation and commissioning.
- Travel will be required for service, commissioning and maintenance activities.
Formal knowledge of electrical design theory and practice is required, as is a degree or diploma from
a recognized educational institution. Minimum five years related experience with automated equipment
and control systems desired. Proficiency with AutoCAD, HMI's, PLC's, VFD's, and integrating control
equipment with an industrial network.
